Sloe Gin Hot Toddy

For the ultimate winter warmer, check out this hot recipe, with created with our multi-award-winning Warner Edwards Sloe Gin combined with apple juice and festive spice.

INGREDIENTS:

GARNISH:

Cinnamon stick, with orange twist, studded with cloves

METHOD:

Add 150ml cloudy apple juice to a pan and pop in your spices: cloves, cinnamon sticks, star anise and a slice of orange. If you'd like a sweeter taste, add more orange. Warm for 5-10 minutes, until the festive scent is in the air. Pour a single shot of Warner Edwards Sloe Gin into your preferred drinking vessel, then carefully ladle in your mulled apple juice. Stir gently to mix and garnish. Best enjoyed on a cool night, in front of a warm fire.

Hosting a gathering? Make your mulled apple juice in batches and add your Warner Edwards Sloe Gin as you serve. Remember: don't add your gin to the pot, or the alcohol will boil off, and we wouldn't want that...! If you've got non-drinkers or children in the room, mulled apple juice is gorgeous with or without gin. Enjoy!

People often ask us for alternative ways to serve our Warner Edwards Harrington Sloe Gin so once again we experimented with the fizz.  We’re pleased with the results with the raspberry puree adding a touch of sweetness to this winter classic.

Gin Genie

Another cocktail that resulted from an evening of experimenting and trying to find alternative flavours to pair with our Warner Edwards Harrington Sloe Gin.  We started with the classic, gin, lemon and sugar base and decided to give strawberry a try.  The result was magical, hence the name.

Gamble

Sometimes, you need that cocktail to wow your friends.  Essentially a twist on the Negroni but the addition of the sugar and sweetness of the plum bitters make this one more suitable for a slightly sweeter tooth.  A great drink to have pre-dinner.
